It’s a bit hard to tell from this photo, but the sole is quite worn down, so it’s time for a full resole.

Of course, we’ll be replacing the soles too, but the main focus this time is on the straps☆

(These are different from the boots I mentioned earlier.)

You can tell the difference, can’t you? ☆

There are a few differences between the Jodphur and the Jodphur II; one of them is that the Jodphur II has loops through which the straps can be threaded.

It is likely that some people found the straps shifted whilst wearing the shoes, making them difficult to put on; consequently, the Jodphur II, which was redesigned in 2014, now features new loops.
(Jodhpur was released in 1996)

As this customer also mentioned that the strap moved around and made the shoes difficult to put on, I suggested fitting a loop, just as we do on the current model.

　

Here it is after the loop has been fitted; as you’d expect from a feature found even on the current model, it blends in rather nicely, doesn’t it? ☆

I fitted it whilst referring to the current model for the loop’s width and position, so I’m confident the result is spot on☆

The sole, of course, features a leather and channel finish (Plan A) – it’s a perfect finish☆

The finish on the edges is spot on too☆

The heel is a non-slip, durable Union heel, made in England, and goes perfectly with John Lobb shoes☆

Now I can wear them much more comfortably☆

I reckon I’ll be wearing them more often than before, won’t I? ☆☆☆
