The women’s Tricker’s range has arrived.
It’s been a while since I’ve written about shoes, but,
With the weather set to get warmer, we now have a full range of sizes in stock.

Black is the most popular colour for shoes.
A pair of black shoes is a versatile choice that fits seamlessly into all sorts of styles.

Aikon Antiques, which attracts the attention of many people.
It goes perfectly with denim.
If you want to enjoy the colour changes that come with ageing, this is the one for you: Marron Antique.
Every time you wear them or polish them, they take on a new character.
I’m sure you’ll find the care work enjoyable too.

The women’s version has a single sole, but it features a thick sole to balance out the volume.
Although they are single-layer, they are designed to be worn comfortably.
The toe box is also quite roomy, and the design has been carefully considered to ensure ease of walking.

The ladies’ version also features a pronounced welt and decorative stitching, in true domestic specification.
This balance really is the perfect match for these shoes.

As it happens, the design of the medallion (the decorative element at the toe) is actually different on women’s shoes.
It’s beautifully put together, just as you’d expect from a pair of ladies’ shoes.

The size of the eyelets has also been chosen with balance in mind; they are a size smaller than those used on men’s items.

Here’s how it compares to the men’s range.
Perhaps it is down to the balance of proportions, but the plump, rounded shape of the toe really stands out
It gives a lovely impression.

This is what it looks like from above.
Trainers are all well and good, but I think leather shoes like these are lovely too.

The shoes will have leather soles; however, when you purchase shoes at the recommended retail price, we offer a complimentary sole service.
Most women opt for half-rubber soles.

If the heels were also made of rubber in future, it would make them much easier to walk in in terms of grip.
Although the leather sole feels a bit stiff at first,
Once they’ve been worn in and start to give a little, they suddenly become much easier to wear.

(The image shows a pair of boots, mind you)
The upper is gradually softening, and it’s starting to take on character.

Wrinkles are starting to appear...

Sometimes there are scuff marks.
If you polish and look after things like this,
The fact that you can appreciate its charm is one of the great things about leather.
You may find them a bit difficult to put on at first, but,
There comes a moment when you realise they’ve become easier to wear.
Once you get to this stage, you won’t be able to put it down.
They’re sure to become the sort of shoes you just can’t help but wear.
