On 27 October last month, rock ‘n’ roll star ☆ Lou Reed passed away.
An artist who had a huge influence on the music scenes in the US and the UK, and
I was aware that his health had not improved, but I am deeply saddened by this.
May he rest in peace.
Now then, these side-gore boots are a pair of Tricker’s that I bought for myself back in June this year.

The silhouette, which is slightly square and has a slightly long nose,
It had that British rock vibe I love so much, and I fell in love with it at first sight.
This is a story from this year’s rainy season, but,
Wearing those Trickers, with her...
I went for a walk near Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura.
Although it was unfortunately drizzling, I took a positive view, thinking, ‘Kamakura looks lovely in the rain♪♪’,
Take it easy??

After walking all day, I happened to look down at my feet, and...
Oh,
A stain has appeared on her country boots...
Actually, these boots,Union Works Exclusive Aikon Country Brogue BootsSo,
This is something I gave as a present last year.
Although they’re a bright colour, I told them I wanted them to wear them as much as they like without worrying about scuffs or discolouration, and
Just as I promised, here’s the result of me wearing them even on a rainy day (lol)
Having spent that summer, Aikon,
The heels were just due for replacement, and
As for that stain on the toe that’s been bothering me...
There were absolutely no problems at all!! (Click here for care instructions on rainy days)
You might be a bit hesitant, thinking, ‘I’m worried about stains on a light-coloured Aikon…’, but,
That’s Trickers for you!! Looks like there’s no need to overthink it (lol)
For this repair, only the top piece was replaced, and,
They chose the Union Heel because they wanted a pair they could really put through their paces without worrying about the road surface.

We also re-finished the edges where the wax and colour had worn off, and

It’s all neat and tidy now.
I’ve only just started wearing them, so they haven’t yet developed that distinctive Tricker’s character, so,
I’m really looking forward to what’s to come♪♪

If you have any shoes that have been put through their paces over the summer, we recommend having them repaired at this time of year.
Furthermore, a service unique to Union Works, ‘ Repair Voucher Customers who own 』,
As the top piece replacement required in this instance is the 50%OFF, please do make use of this service.
By the way, on the way back from Kamakura,
At a station with the same name as my surname,
I managed to take the shot I’d always wanted, and it turned into a very satisfying summer memory.
