For some time now, there has been a tool that Union staff have been using mainly for the care of cordovan leather.

It’s quite simple, but as it’s incredibly handy, I’d like to share it with you all.

When it comes to Abbe Horn’s cordovan care products, those made from buffalo horn are particularly well known, aren’t they?

This is bone china, moulded from cow bone ash and clay.

It is characterised by its higher strength and smoother texture compared to ordinary porcelain.

It feels very comfortable in the hand, and even when carrying out the time-consuming task of caring for cordovan leather, my hands don’t tire easily.

Cordovan leather, with its fuzz thoroughly smoothed out and surface levelled, is

It produces an attractive sheen not found in other leathers. (Please note that rubbing too hard may leave marks.)

 

It is also suitable for applying oil to the sole to tighten the leather fibres, or for evening out uneven stains caused by rain.

In short, this product is characterised by its ease of handling and the fact that it allows access to even the smallest details.

It may not be as striking as a water buffalo horn, but as a tool, it is perfectly adequate.

In fact, I think this one is easier to use.
