The item we’re repairing this time is a pair of Alden lace-up boots.

This is a pair of shoes with a simple design, featuring a striking white Vibram #4014 sole.

This time, the client wanted to customise these boots to give them a bit more of a work boot look, so
You brought it with you.

There are many different styles of work boots

We’ll have a chat whilst looking at sole samples and other items in-store.

Following our consultation, the order you placed was

Vibram #430 sole.

Because the pattern of raised and recessed areas is concentrated towards the centre,
This sole is characterised by its grip, whilst still offering a clean and sleek appearance when viewed from the side.

Here is the result after the repair.

It looks rather smart from the side, doesn’t it?

The midsole features a 3-millimetre leather sole.

Choosing a brown edge really enhances the work boot look, doesn’t it?

The heel lining has also been finished in brown, just like the midsole.
It’s turned into a lovely atmosphere.

The heel has a straight, uncurved design.

Tapered, pitched heels are also a classic feature of work boots, but,
If the heel isn’t too high, a sleek, simple look can also work well.

The result is a pair of boots that retain the essence of work boots whilst being elegant and smart.
