Repairing Black Shoes
23 November 2022
Black Friday is just around the corner, isn’t it?
The Friday following the fourth Thursday in November. This year, that falls on 25 November.
Many shops hold large-scale sales in the run-up to and following Black Friday.
Apparently, there are various theories as to the origin of the name, but,
Personally, I like the theory best that it’s called ‘Black Friday’ because every shop turns a profit during this period.
It doesn’t seem very credible, though.
I’ve told you this story, but,
Our company does not hold any events specifically related to Black Friday.
That’s rather blunt, isn’t it? Haha
If nothing else, to make some sort of connection, please allow me to introduce a guide to repairing black shoes.
Shannon from Church.

A rounded silhouette with a thick sole.
Although the design is simple, it makes a statement; it adds volume to your look and is easy to pair with a variety of styles.
They’re a very practical pair of shoes, aren’t they?

I’ve only just started wearing them, but I’m worried that the toes are wearing down too quickly.
If the sole is thick, it takes longer to mould to your foot and to flex, and the toe area wears down more quickly.

Another thing is that the sole slips, which is scary.
Following consultation on the two points mentioned above, we decided to reinforce the sole.
We will reinforce it using a combination of half-rubber and steel.

Here is the finished result

It’s an excellent combination that provides both toe reinforcement and slip resistance.
Please do give it a try.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Thank you very much for staying with us until the end.
