High-heel lifts

High-heel lifts

19 April 2010

Union Works’ repair services.

Size adjustments, damage repairs, replacement parts for worn components…

I’ve tried all sorts of things on my shoes over the years.

Even if you just take a single rubber heel, they all feel different underfoot.

And then there’s the issue of sizing, which is a source of concern for many of you.

There were times when I deliberately bought shoes that were too big, just to see how much I could stretch them.

(Well, that’s not quite true. I just got the size wrong...)
(I’ll explain how to adjust the size another time.)

The cost of that mistake was a blow, but just how much size adjustment is possible,

I subsequently learnt the hard way what the limit is for continuing to wear them comfortably.

This is the part of unrequited love that lies beyond the reach of such experiments and challenges.

Actually, it’s not as though I’ve never tried wearing high heels before.

Of courseJust like yo-c, It’s not as if I have that sort of hobby, you know.
It was just out of curiosity.

But I can’t tell you how surprised I was at that moment...

I’m always standing on tiptoes, completely on the balls of my feet. Even just standing still, my legs are shaking, and if I so much as try to move, it feels as though my ankle might snap.

Naturally, I didn’t have the luxury of walking at a brisk pace, so I didn’t get a feel for the lift.

It’s a wonder I manage to walk every day in this sort of state, isn’t it?

And so, whilst feeling a sense of surprise, I was once again struck by my appreciation of feminine beauty.

Naturally, as the body weight is concentrated over such a small area, the parts wear out much more quickly.

That’s where Steel Lift comes in handy.

(This colour is available in these two sizes only.) (The one on the left is the slightly larger size.)

It is wrapped in steel around the rubber core.

It’s a bit stiff That’s right. However, it’s not quite as bad as when the inner metal core has come loose from overuse. apparently。

After I recommended it, opinions were split—I’d say it was about 50:50.

However, as it’s exceptionally long-lasting, why not give it a go if you’re always finding that your products run out too quickly?

Please do let us know what you think.
