[Tricker’s] Tricker’s L5633 Women’s Country Shoes: Full sole replacement (Ridgeway sole), eyelet replacement, heel counter repair, upper care

29 June 2025

Here’s what we’d like to introduce to you today.

Tricker’s country shoes.

Women’s range.

This is a pair with a colour scheme typical of women’s shoes, isn’t it?

Let’s take a look straight away.

You’ve been wearing them for nearly 10 years, and this is the first time they’ve needed repairing.

The original Dainite sole is

Toes,

There is noticeable wear on both the heels.

Furthermore, the sole itself has started to harden with age, so it is in a condition that gives cause for concern regarding whether they can be worn for much longer.

Let’s have the soles completely replaced, with the future in mind.

Next up is the lining.

Friction is causing a hole to form, and if left as it is, the damage will continue to spread.

Let’s reinforce it by applying a piece of leather.

Finally, the upper.

The original eyelets are white, creating a striking contrast with the upper, but as they don’t quite suit your current taste, let’s swap them out to give the shoes a fresh look.

Let’s also make sure to look after the uppers at the same time.

Here is the finished result.

Ridgeway Soles

The sole isRidgeway SoleWe have replaced it.

As with the Dainite sole, the pattern is situated on the inside of the outseam, so it is less noticeable when viewed from the side.

However, as the pattern is visible on the heel from the edge, I think it has given it a slightly different look.

It goes perfectly with the voluminous look of Tricker’s.

Next up is the lining.

We repair the counter lining by applying leather to the necessary areas.

It also prevents the hole from widening and the core material from cracking, which could cause the shape to become distorted.

Finally, the upper.

Let’s start by looking at the eyelets.

〈before〉

〈after〉

We have changed the colour from white to antique gold.

I think the colour matches the metal fitting at the end of the cord quite closely, which has further enhanced the sense of unity.

Finally, treat the whole thing with navy cream to finish it off.

I think the colour has been restored and the leather has been treated, resulting in a lovely finish.

On this occasion, in addition to necessary repairs such as a full sole replacement, we also carried out a customisation to change the colour of the eyelets.

Even if your tastes have changed and you no longer wear a particular pair of shoes, you can give them a whole new look by having them customised, so please do feel free to get in touch.

We look forward to welcoming you all.

Thank you very much.
