Married couples, or boyfriends and girlfriends, for example.

And it all looks like a lot of fun, doesn’t it? ☆

These were the Trickers for couples available at Union Works!

We are delighted that, as well as those visiting us for repairs, an increasing number of customers are coming in simply to browse our shoes.

There don’t seem to be many Trickers for women, and I often hear people say, ‘I’ve been looking for these!’

Whilst there are some minor differences in the specifications, they are essentially identical in design.

These parts are almost identical.

 

As regards sole thickness, the men’s version has a double sole, whilst the women’s version has a single sole. (Standard specification)

 

The edges are finished in the Union Order, Harihari style!

The level of detail in the fuzzing really is something else, isn’t it?

As you can see, apart from the thickness of the sole, they look almost identical.

 

Both soles are made of leather.

The material is very well-balanced, and I think you’ll really appreciate the true charm of these shoes as they mould to your feet with wear.

The toes really do wear down quite a lot when you first start wearing a new pair.

So...

You can leave them as they are with the leather soles, but if you’re concerned about them slipping, simply replacing the heels with rubber ones will make a big difference.

You can wear the soles as they are and have them fully resole (which is covered by the voucher), or if you want to walk on wet surfaces, you could try fitting half-rubber soles (though this isn’t covered by the voucher…), and it’s great fun to experiment with leather soles in all sorts of ways.

And so on—it’s not just choosing shoes that’s fun; selecting materials like these is a pleasure in itself.

In fact,

‘Which colour shoes shall I go for?’

‘Shall we try this on the still?’

And so on. Witnessing such a heart-warming scene makes it a pleasure for me, too, to offer advice.
